We're excited to invite you to our next Ruby meetup happening on Wednesday, May 22rd from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at WorkplaceOne @ 51 Wolseley St, Toronto.

We are lucky to have a large community of diverse and talented Rubyists in Toronto and we want our speaker schedule to reflect that!

For upcoming Toronto Ruby events, we're looking for speakers from our talented community members, as well as opening the floor to lightning talks.

Have you given a talk at work on a Ruby-related topic?

Do you want to practice a talk in front of a friendly group?

Main presentations at past Toronto Ruby meetups have ranged from 40-60 minutes and typically dive deep on a topic of interest to Rubysists. If this sounds like you, please reply to this email with details of your talk and we'll get it scheduled!

Lightning Talks

Lightning Talks are quick 5-10 minute talks that can be serious, weird, and/or funny! They can also be a great way to practice for your future main presentations.

If you'd like to give a 5-10 minute talk on a Ruby-related topic, we'd love to have you! It's a great way to share your knowledge, get some public speaking experience, and connect with fellow Rubyists.

To submit a talk proposal or sign up for a lightning slot, simply reply to this email with your name, talk title, and a brief description.

As always, we'll have plenty of time for networking, socializing, and enjoying some refreshments courtesy of our amazing sponsors!
